Fencing New Zealand has advised the Commonwealth Fencing Federation of its intention to host the Commonwealth Veteran Fencing Championships in 2016.

The preliminary dates for the competition are 17 - 20 November 2016, in Christchurch. Fencing New Zealand is looking forward to welcoming veterans from all over the Commonwealth to this event.

Timing of the event will allow competitors to also attend the New Zealand National and Veterans Championships in late October or the Australian National Championships (senior & veteran) in early December 2016, as well as taking time out to explore the many attractions New Zealand has to offer.
