The Organizing Committee of the CVFC 2020 has advised that at this stage they are still planning to hold the upcoming CVFC 2020 Markham, Canada, as scheduled.

We are continuously monitoring the situation in Canada as well as globally regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). The priority of the Organizing Committee is the safety and well-being of all fencers, officials and accompanying persons intending to participate in the CVFC 2020, July 23-26, Markham, Ontario, Canada.

At this time, the upcoming CVFC 2020 Markham, Canada will remain as scheduled. Any changes will be communicated through the event website (CVFC2020.com), this Facebook group and directly to Commonwealth Fencing National Federations and associations.

We will continue to follow guidelines from Health Canada and Public Health Ontario, as well as municipal authorities and, are monitoring announcements from Federation Internationale d’Escrime, in order to create a safe environment for all participants.
