The Commonwealth Fencing Federations was saddened to learn of the death of former CFF President Piers Jones, on 14 November 2011.

Nicholas Fang, President of Fencing Singapore has today announced that the 2012 Commonwealth Veterans Fencing Championships will be held From Thursday 27th September to Sunday 30th September 2012. There had been other dates advised but these are now the final dates.

The 2012 Commonwealth Veteran Fencing Championships, Singapore, has had a change of date, due to venue problems. The event is now scheduled for 20-23 September 2012.

The CFF has released an Official Report of the 2009 Commonwealth Fencing Junior Championships, which were held from the 17th to the 21st of February, 2009, at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA) in Penang, Malaysia.
The CFF has released an Information Bulletin, which contains an update on the 2010 Championships, to be hosted by Melbourne Australia, and which may incorporate the Veteran Championships. The Bulletin also includes a notice of the next Council meeting (Palermo, Italy in the evening of Thursday, 19 November, 2009) and a brief report on the 2009 Veteran Championships.
